Last week, Achernar celebrated RED RIBBON WEEK. Red Ribbon Week, which is celebrated annually in October, is the nation's oldest and largest drug prevention awareness program.

Unity Day at Achernar

On Wednesday, October 19th, at ISANA Achernar Academy we came together to show support for Unity Day. Students were able to wear orange to show their unified support for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. This is a visible message that no child should have to experience bullying.

SMART GARDEN BY LA COUNTY

Achernar is very excited to have two garden beds that LA COUNTY Public Works donated. They were able to come out last week and set them up with both of our second grade classes.

California Health Laws require that students entering the 7th grade must have a Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (Tdap) booster prior to the first day of school.
