The 7th grade students at ISANA Nascent Academy visited the California Science Center on Monday, March 20th. Students saw an IMAX: Under the Sea 3D movie before they adventures through the museum. The students admired the Space Capsules and the flying video simulators.
On Tuesday, February 21st, students and staff at Nascent wore HBCU, college, fraternity, and sorority gear for Black History Month Spirit Week. Some of the HBCU colleges that were seen around campus were Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Jackson State University, Prairie View A&M University, Howard University, and Spelman College just to name a few.
ISANA Nascent Academy invited Students and Staff to dress up for the Black History Month Fashion Show. Participants dressed up in their colorful and outstanding outfits.
Students and Staff at Nascent participated in crazy hair day on Wednesday, February 15th. Students are happily participating in this week's Spirit Week.
Ms. Hill, a 6th-grade teacher at Jefferson had her students decorate her classroom with iconic and historical figures. Students have been learning about Black History Month throughout February.
School Counselor Appreciation Week was from February 6th through the 10th. Nascent Jefferson's counselor, Ms. Arroyo felt appreciated the entire week thanks to the students and staff.
