We believe in the importance of offering programs that enhance student learning after-school, in the evening, and during the summer. Our award-winning Expanded Learning Program provides enriching and engaging academic, literacy, and social enrichment opportunities that meet the diverse interests and learning needs of all our students. These enrichment opportunities not only build on what our students are learning during the school day, but also celebrate diversity, inspire creativity, boost critical thinking, and support socioemotional wellness.
Our program is offered completely free of charge to all ISANA students.
CAMP ISANA Summer Explorers presents ISANA scholars in grades TK-7 an opportunity to extend academic and social enrichment during the summer. Scholars enrolled in CAMP ISANA Summer Explorers receive daily academic enrichment from credentialed teachers, nutritious meals, and exciting social enrichment provided by ISANA’s classified team. In addition to an active and engaging on-campus experience, each week scholars will participate in an exploratory field trip designed to broaden their horizons and provide access to hands-on learning experiences. CAMP ISANA is offered as a full day (9am – 4pm) or half day (9am – 1pm) program and is free of charge to all ISANA students. Registration will open on each schools ISANA webpage Monday, May 13th. Re-enrollment for the 24-25 school year must be complete to apply.
In March of 2022, ISANA’s Director of Expanded Learning, Autrilla Gillis, was named Teacher of the Year by the California Charter Schools Association.
